Torremolinos tourist attractions
There have been found many archaeological remains dating back to prehistoric times, Romans settled in the town and built the Roman road connecting to Cadiz, Churriana and Playamar. This road passed next to the Benitez camp (old military facilities), beside the Roman road there were villas and salting fish factories built which remains can still be seen.

Windmill Tower (Torre del Molino)
During the Middle Ages (around the year 1300) the Arabs built a defense tower against the pirates attacks, later this tower would be called Torre de los Molinos (Tower of the Mills) from where the municipality got its name.

Santa Clara Castle
The place was a fortress built after the Christian conquest to defend the coast, later it was used also for defending against the French. In 1898 it was bought by George Langworthy and served as his residence until his death. It was transformed into an aparthotel later.
Calle San Miguel
San Miguel street is one of the most transited commercial streets in Europe, it is located in a touristic area and it heads to the sea. By the end of the street you can find the historic Mill Tower.

Parque de la Bateria
This park is situated in Montemar, it has a walking path, children activities and a lake with boats. There is a tower with a nice viewpoint of the coast.

El Ranchito
Equestrian centre and horse shows. The only horse show on the Costa del Sol including Dressage and other demonstrations. Featuring the famous Andalusian horses. Free bus service available. Every Wednesday at 17:45.

Crocodile Park
Situated next to the beautiful pine forest with more than 200 crocodiles, some more than 5 metres in length. Children less than 12 must be accompanied by an adult (children under 3 go free). Ample parking; café/bar; museum and gift shop. Open every day.

Aqualand is located only 10 minutes from the centre of Torremolinos. Aqualand is a place where you can spend a day having lots of fun with the best aquatic attractions one can ever imagine.
Aqualand is closed during the low season, open from May to October 4th:
- May, June, September and October: 11 am to 6 pm
- July and August from 11 am to 7 pm
- 20 September is closed because Torremolinos pilgrimage.
