The water has a perfect temperature and we both did enjoy it.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>July is already starting to become a major tourist attraction, so there are more and more people on the beach. If you want to avoid the biggest crowds but you like summer, this is the perfect month. On the other hand, if you want to experience summer in all its splendour, visit <a href=\"https:\/\/www.malagaweb.com\/blog\/costa-del-sol\/malaga-in-august\/\">Malaga in August<\/a>.<\/p>\n<h2>Malaga weather in July<\/h2>\n<p>Malaga&#8217;s weather in July is characterised by rising temperatures; the sea water is already usually at a pleasant temperature for bathing and the sun can already cause burns if we are not careful; I can recommend you to take a look at our article on sunbathing tips.<\/p>\n<h3>Temperature<\/h3>\n<p>Maximum temperatures no longer tend to fall below 30 degrees, while minimum temperatures reach 20 degrees, usually at night.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.malagaweb.com\/espanol\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/07\/temperatura-malaga-julio.jpg\" itemprop=\"contentUrl\"  data-gallery title=\"Malaga in July - Temperature, beach and sunbathing\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-9010\" src=\"https:\/\/www.malagaweb.com\/espanol\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/07\/temperatura-malaga-julio.jpg\" alt=\"temperatura de M\u00e1laga en julio\" width=\"614\" height=\"381\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>During this month it is already possible to find especially high temperatures; in 2019 were reached a maximum of 39\u00baC in the middle of the month, although the normal temperature was around 30\u00baC. The temperature was perfect and I could see my own feet, the water was crystal clear.<\/p>\n<h3>Sea temperature in July in Malaga<\/h3>\n<p>The sea has already reached a pleasant temperature of about 22 or 23 degrees, it will only be exceeded during the month of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.malagaweb.com\/blog\/costa-del-sol\/malaga-in-august\/\">August in Malaga<\/a> but not by much more. \u00bfHow does it feel that temperature? For me it feels a little bit cold in the beginning, but very easy to acclimatize and in the end you end up not wanting to leave the water.<\/p>\n<p>If you are thinking of enjoying the beach and a swim in the sea, this month is ideal to do so.<\/p>\n<h2>What clothes do you need to come to Malaga in July<\/h2>\n<p>July is the month with the highest level of ultraviolet rays. You can buy everything at any shop next to the beach at a good price and save some space in your luggage.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>More than one swimsuit; especially useful to use while another one dries.<\/li>\n<li>Shorts.<\/li>\n<li>T-shirts and short-sleeved shirts.<\/li>\n<li>Summer pyjama.<\/li>\n<li>Sunglasses.<\/li>\n<li>Sun cream with an appropriate protection factor. There may be limitations this year due to the situation with the coronavirus and to avoid crowding.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.malagaweb.com\/blog\/tours\/benalmadena-cable-car-calamorro-mountain\/\">Benalmadena cable car<\/a> opens during the whole month.<\/li>\n<li>It is also a perfect month to enjoy the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.malagaweb.com\/blog\/tours\/natural-pools-malaga\/\">natural pools in Malaga<\/a>; although always respecting the safety distance from other people.<\/li>\n<li>I did write some <a href=\"https:\/\/www.malagaweb.com\/blog\/costa-del-sol\/visit-marbella\/\">things to do in Marbella<\/a> and also <a href=\"https:\/\/www.malagaweb.com\/blog\/costa-del-sol\/visit-benalmadena\/\">in Benalmadena<\/a>; in case you want to read some ideas.<\/li>\n<li>There are <strong>concerts in July 2022<\/strong>, if you are interested you can take a look at the artists visiting us during the month of July both in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.malagaweb.com\/blog\/events\/live-concerts-fuengirola-festival\/\">Marenostrum Fuengirola<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.malagaweb.com\/blog\/events\/starlite-festival-marbella\/\">Starlite Marbella<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li>The processions of the <strong>Virgen del Carmen on July 16th<\/strong>, you might want to see how it is one of the most spectacular traditions of Malaga. They are celebrated in a special way in the coastal districts.<\/li>\n<li>The <strong>Antequera Light Festival 2024<\/strong> takes place on the 12th and 13th of July, to commemorate the declaration of the Dolmens as World Heritage.
