Let&#8217;s see some alternatives to the bus from the airport:<\/p>\n<h3>By car<\/h3>\n<p>Presumably you won&#8217;t have your own car when you arrive on holiday, but you can always <a href=\"https:\/\/www.malagaweb.com\/car-hire\/\">rent a car in Malaga<\/a> if you plan ahead.<\/p>\n<p>From Malaga to Almu\u00f1ecar is 1 hour of travel with beautiful scenery as you border the coast.<\/p>\n<h3>Taxi or transfer<\/h3>\n<p>Renting a vehicle with a driver is undoubtedly the most comfortable option, although not the cheapest. If you don&#8217;t mind spending a little more or if you can share the costs of the trip with other companions is undoubtedly one of the best options.<\/p>\n<p>I can recommend <a href=\"https:\/\/www.malagatransfer.co.uk\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">malagatransfer.co.uk<\/a>. It&#8217;s a Spanish company that I&#8217;ve used in some occasions and with which I&#8217;ve had a very good experience. You can take a look at other websites that offer <a href=\"https:\/\/www.malagaweb.com\/malaga-airport\/transfers.php\">transfers from Malaga airport<\/a> and decide which one suits you best.<\/p>\n<h3>From the bus terminal<\/h3>\n<p>From the bus terminal in Malaga, daily buses to Almu\u00f1ecar depart with greater frequency and schedule. But you will have to take the train from the airport and get off at the penultimate stop.<\/p>\n<p>Once you have taken the train you must get off at Mar\u00eda Zambrano station.
