It is based on a quality raw material and using the typical products of their municipalities to prepare delicious dishes.<\/p>\n<h2>Gastronomic festivals in White Villages<\/h2>\n<p>We will review these villages and their unique gastronomic festivals. Their approximate dates can vary slightly each year.<\/p>\n<h3>Gastronomic festivals in Sierra de las Nieves<\/h3>\n<p>In the <strong>Sierra de las Nieves<\/strong>: <em>D\u00eda de la Sopa de los Siete Ramales <\/em>(typical soup of the region) on February 28 in <strong>El Burgo<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>The <em>Fiesta del Tost\u00f3n <\/em>(roasting chestnuts with family and friends) on 1 November in <strong>Ojen<\/strong> (Marbella ).<\/p>\n<p><em>Gastronomic and Orange Day<\/em> (traditional recipes, orange juice) on 20 March in <strong>Istan<\/strong> (<a title=\"Marbella\" href=\"https:\/\/www.malagaweb.com\/marbella.php\">Marbella<\/a>).<\/p>\n<h3>Guadalhorce Valley<\/h3>\n<p>In <strong>Guadalhorce Valley<\/strong>: <em>D\u00eda de las Sopas Perotas<\/em> (typical soup of the region) the first Saturday in October in <strong>Alora<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><em>Orange Festival<\/em> in May in <strong>Coin<\/strong>, which markes the end of the harvest of orange and <em>Olive fair<\/em> in mid-September in <strong>Alozaina<\/strong> which marks the beginning of the olive harvest.<\/p>\n<h3>Guadalteba area<\/h3>\n<p>In the area of <strong>Guadalteba<\/strong>: <em>Asparagus Day<\/em> in late April in <strong>Sierra de Yeguas<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Ham Fair on\u00a0 November 7 in <strong>Campillos<\/strong><em>.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>Fiesta de la Matanza<\/em> (meats) on February 14 in <strong>Ardales<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<h3>Antequera area<\/h3>\n<p><strong>Antequera<\/strong>: The <em>Fiesta de la Zanahoria Mor\u00e1<\/em> (a very unique vegetable that is grown only in the Genil area).<\/p>\n<p>December 5 in <strong>Cuevas Bajas<\/strong>, the <em>Almond Day<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>September 26 in <strong>Almog\u00eda<\/strong> and the <em>Goat Fair<\/em> in late September in <strong>Casabermeja<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<h3>Serrania de Ronda gastronomy<\/h3>\n<p><strong>Serrania de Ronda<\/strong>: <em>Feria de la chacina<\/em> (pork sausage).<\/p>\n<p>December 6 in <strong>Benaoj\u00e1n<\/strong><em>.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>Chestnut Festival<\/em> on November 1 at <strong>Pujerra<\/strong>, the place where are probably produced the most chestnuts in Spain<em>.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>Food Fair<\/em> (with typical products) over the last days in February in <strong>Benarrab\u00e1<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<h3>Axarquia gastronomy<\/h3>\n<p><strong>Axarquia<\/strong>: Here there are many gastronomic festivals: <em>D\u00eda de la Chanfaina<\/em> (lamb) last Sunday in November in <strong>Totalan<\/strong><em>.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>D\u00eda de la Morcilla (blood sausage)<\/em> in late April in <strong>Canillas de Aceituno<\/strong><em>.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>Raisin Day<\/em> the third Sunday of September in <strong>El Borge<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><em>Moscatel Grape Day<\/em> the first Saturday of August in <strong>Iznate<\/strong><em>.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>Verdial Oil Day<\/em> on April 11 in <strong>Periana<\/strong><em>.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>D\u00eda del Caracol<\/em> (snail) in <strong>Riogordo<\/strong> by the end of May.<em><br \/>\n<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>Loquat<\/em> day on the first Sunday in May in <strong>Sayalonga.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Country Fair<\/strong> in the second half of April in <strong>Benamargosa<\/strong>, highlighting the baticate, an avocado shake.<\/p>\n<h3>Other gastronomy festivals in Malaga<\/h3>\n<p>Furthermore, there are the<em> Fiesta de las Migas <\/em>(a tasty dish made with breadcrumbs) the Sunday before Christmas in <strong>Torrox<\/strong><em>.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>Feast of vintners<\/em> on the first Sunday of September in <strong>Moclinejo<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Feast of Ajoblanco (a typical delicious cold soup) the first Saturday in September <strong>Alm\u00e1char<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Fiesta del Gazpacho (the most popular cold soup in Andalusia) on the first weekend of August in <strong>Alfarnatejo<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>In <strong>Colmenar<\/strong> is outstanding the Grape and Chacina Festival which takes place on Sunday in the second week of December.<\/p>\n<p><em>Wine Night<\/em> on August 15 in <strong>Competa<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>So throughout the whole year you can find in the province of Malaga a town or village that celebrates its typical gastronomic festival.
