Event “Iron People on the Beach” in Torremolinos on 2 June

iron people TorremolinosLovers of sports and the beach have a new appointment this Saturday, June 2 at the 6th edition of the sporting event Iron People on the Beach, which is held as every year on the beach Playamar in Torremolinos from 9.30 am in the morning. During this festive day there will take place a number of sports activities such as volleyball and beach soccer, rugby, zumba dance, aerobics, bouncy castles, children’s playground and many other activities right on the beach to go for a refreshing swim at all times. The activities are suitable for all ages and last until the late afternoon.

Admission to this sport festival is 5 Euros and includes insurance and access to all activities of Iron People, picnic bag, refreshments throughout the day, Summer Kit with Iron shirt + Sunscreen and gifts from sponsors. We think it´s a good excuse to have a great time at the beach and meet a lot of new people.

Playamar is a popular urban beach in Torremolinos, which is one thousand metres long and 50 metres wide and is usually very busy, especially on weekends. It is very well equipped, with many Beach Bars where you can sample delicious fish next to the seashore; there is also an area of palm trees, parking, security, playground, pedal boats, hammocks, showers and foot showers and kiosks. At night there is a large offer of restaurants and pubs in the area

The popular holiday resort of Torremolinos is easily accessed via the Mediterranean motorway A-7 or the national road N-340. The suburban train connects all major coastal cities such as Benalmadena and Fuengirola, Malaga city and Malaga airport-Costa del Sol which is only 8 km from Torremolinos.
