As is tradition in Torremolinos, the cradle of tourism in the Costa del Sol, another year is celebrated the Tourist Day, which this year celebrates its twenty-third edition. On this day, which every year is held the first Thursday in September.
The city of Torremolinos pays tribute to all those who have made that this popular seaside town has converted from a small fishing village into an epicenter of tourism.
Free food and drinks in Torremolinos
Thus, residents and visitors will be offered free servings of paella and refreshing drinks in the Plaza La Nogalera (centre, next to suburban train station) and La Carihuela (Playa Miguel). There will be a parade of the Municipal Band and other musical performances.
This event draws thousands of visitors each year, local and worldwide who take advantage of the still good weather to spend their holiday on the Costa del Sol.
