Hello,
Sharing a link to a public post from trip advisor forum is not like sharing private conversations.
It is good to know about the changes in the age policy, but the rest is almost repeated from previous posts.

Hi Raul,
My name is Paul Richardson I am a director of Briansrentacar .I do enjoy your forum and find it informative and interesting but from our side the anonymous posts that are not a true reflection of the situation.
When Malagafan posted comments on the 13th Oct 2010 he failed to mention we contacted him as soon as he left the car with the damage report, photos etc and refunded the balance of his deposit. You replied” but I loved the way you exposed it.
That statement implies he has exposed something and it is true, you are independent and can love the way he posted his comments but not that he has exposed it.
Take your comment “Sharing a link to a public post from trip advisor forum is not like sharing private conversations.
I agree sharing a link is good but Snowboy copied and pasted Karen Gibbards post from Tripadviser and posted her comments onto your forum which is displayed 3 times, this is not correct. Follow the link which is also displayed 3 times and you will find the post has been deleted. When a person puts their name on posts which are not true this is libel and we do take action.
Take Jason Wood who has never hired from us nor was he there when his colleagues returned their hire cars, how can he know there was no damage, he can not, so all his post on your forum is a lie. We can not take libel action as he rents a flat and will run away leaving us with legal costs.
We provide a first class service to all our clients and rely on repeat bookings and recommendations we are also full members of AECA.

I agree with you completely about how I must act in this forum. The word "I loved the way you exposed it" to the first post is because I though it was fun the way he described his problem, nothing else, however I have edited it, as I don't want any confussion there... I always says " I dont have opinion, as I never used the service"...and even using it, Im not sure if it would be fair to post my own opinion if I want to moderate comments from both sides.

About the rest, I still have to moderate a few posts here. If I notice repetitive information or false reviews I will delete or edit them (using the tools I have to manage the forum, like IP sharing for posting more than once using different usernames).

I really can't know if someone hired the car or not, I try my best to keep this a clean forum where visitors can get their own opinion, and of course where business owners can reply to claims...it would not be fair otherwise.

Hi Raul,
Thank you for your amendment on Malaga fan, please remove the 3 posting by Snowboy repeating Karen Gibbards post on Tripadviser which is also linked 3 times,
He has no legal right to copy and use statements from other people.
Regarding Jason Wood who states there was no damage on the cars of his 3 colleagues if you read his colleague Nicholas Walton post you will see he dumped the car outside arrivals so it is impossible for Jason Wood to know if Walton had damaged the car or if it was short of petrol as we previously stated his post is a pck of lies in the same way how would he know
we are the worst car hire company in the world
he has not hired with us and can not have experience of every car hire in the world. This shows the really bad and dishonest type of people character he and his friend Nicholas Walton are.

Hello,
He just posted once the link to Trip Advisor, the rest are quotes from other users which include or reference that post.

If any user want to report a message in the forum, use the link on the top right corner, a moderator when available will review the post.

My comments should stay. I am not a liar and I am not accusing others of lying. I believe the forum readers should decide for themselves where to place their trust.

After a 1 hour flight delay from uk, I was very pleased to be met by nice Englishman who escorted us to our car and answered our questions about best places to go. The Fiat punto car was clean and met with our expectations. Having returned to UK my deposit has been returned as promised. A stress free car rental that I shall definitely use again.

Just a quick note: Forums use to flag users sharing same network , and those posts are filtered and checked individually. If you are wondering, why your post has been filtered...just ask yourself from where are you logging in.

Hello,
I would like to comment on the two above companies, I have recently had a very bad time with Briansrentcar, They have retained my Parents deposit for Damage they claim we have caused to a Citroen Berlingo hired in Sept 2012.
We did NOT cause any damage whatsoever to the vehicle they had provided.
The company REFUSE to send me the Hirer ANY evidence of their claims and hide behind a contract they claim covers Damage to their vehicle EVEN AFTER ITS RETURNED !
The company have used threatening and abusive e-mails and texts towards myself all of which are Evidentially recored for court purposes.
Since disputing their damage claims my Parents have had further funds removed from their credit card by the company, and I have since had to cancel that account to stop further funds being removed.
I know others on this site have had similar problems, so I would like to invite them to contact me with their experiences.
I have good cause also to belive the two companies are linked through buisness in some way.
My advise would be to AVOID BRIANSRENTACAR AT ALL COSTS.

I would like to update people reading this thread. After several months I have now managed to claim back monies taken from my parents credit card account with the RBS. Briansrentacar have made several false claims about myself in the olive press article featured in November 2012. The whole process has placed a great deal of stress and upset upon my elderly parents. However if the final result is that this stops anyone else from having to treated as Briansrentacar has treated us then Iam happy. If I've learned one thing its don't go for the cheapest. You get what you pay for. And my advice is avoid Briansrentacar AT ALL COSTS.
