The Sierra Nevada ski resort opened the day 27 of December, with 12 kilometers of tracks, having had to close five days this past week as a result of strong gusts of wind recorded.

The five tracks from the beginner area and several in Borreguiles, like Zorro, the Peseta, Poppy and Pena, are already enabled for skiing, snow quality with a hard and thicknesses up to 150 cm, as reported Efe Cetursa sources, the public company that manages the Sierra Nevada ski station.

This morning began with 63 hectares for skiing, with a drop of nearly 500 meters, which could reach 800 if it gets to open the river, and are operating the chairlift Veleta, Emile Allais, the Sabika and Parador.
