The Hotels prepared to open for this bridge holiday in Spain, are at a 50% of occupancy and waiting for last minute reservations.

For the ones who have not decided yet, we include a link to some Sierra Nevada webcams so you can check your self the Sierra Nevada snow reports.

The current state of the slopes and the meteorological prevision for the next days is as follows:

• Pistes Prevision: Powder snow
• Density 30 cm
• Skiing length 1,7 km in Piste of Borreguiles.
• Meteorological prevision: Borreguiles (2.650 m), cloudless sky, Temp. 0ēC. Pradollano (2.100m), cloudless sky, 5ēC. Take a further look to the actual Sierra Nevada weather.

In case of non favorable climatic conditions, there will be produced artificial snow.

During the next days, Cetursa Sierra Nevada will establish a maximum of 1.000 forfaits a day, due to security reasons and in order to avoid massive affluence on the open slopes.

Actual Sierra Nevada status

The ski slope of El Rio, with more than 3 kilometres length and an inclination of 550 metres, has been opened thanks to recent snowfall and snow production.

Sierra Nevada maintained during all day nearly 100 snow cannons which produced the snow for the areas of Borreguiles, Beginners, El Rio and the lower part of Maribel. At present time, in Ski Resort are available 900 metres of inclination and it can be completed the descent of 5, 1 kilometres from Zorro to Pradollano. Currently are available 10 km of open slopes with powder snow of 20 to 40 centimeters.

The timetable of the lifts is from 9:00 h to 16:45 h.

For the next days is expected snowfall from 1000 metres onwards.
