Visitors can sample from 12 a.m. on Friday rations of all kinds of fresh seafood at the 9th edition of this fair.
Seafood lovers can enjoy a variety of products without leaving the site.
During four days visitors can taste the best seafood. There are shrimps, scallops, grilled prawns, mussels, clams and many more from a total of 20 varieties of seafood offered by the restaurants participating in this event.

This weekend we expect temperatures hovering around 17° C, clouds and possible rain until Saturday. It is not the typical sunny and clear day of late April and beginning of May but nothing to worry about.

Visiting Puerto Marina Seafood Fair
Puerto Marina in Benalmadena is one of the most original and beautiful marinas in the world. Awarded several times for its unusual architectural design with artificial islands and a mixture of Indian, Arab and Andalusian styles.
In addition to the seafood fair you can find a commercial area with shops, restaurants and coffee-shops.

Visitors who come this weekend from 8th to 10th of June to Puerto Marina in Benalmadena can enjoy in the port a large number of activities. Fun for all ages, especially children.
The event was named “Medieval Market and Marine Mythology“, during the event children and adults can participate in workshops, games room, parades and performances related to marine mythology and there will be as well a medieval market.
There will be a themed show every night; on Friday the performance is about medieval tyrants and pirates; Saturday will focus on mythological gods and there will be a comedy show and circus exercises, fire eaters and parades; on Sunday the performance will be about medieval warriors. In the medieval market there will be a variety of craft stalls selling silver, stones and minerals, Arabic handicrafts, natural soaps, glass, scrolls and much more. There will also be a “School of shield bearers” and an exhibition of falconry and a small stable of ponies for children.
The market opens its doors on Friday 8, from 7 pm until 1 am. Opening times during the weekend are from 11 am to 2.30 pm and from 7 pm to 1 am.
Puerto Marina has been awarded twice as the best marina in the world and certainly is worth a visit because of its attractive architecture that blends Eastern and Arab styles. The marina of Benalmadena is not just a port with over one thousand berths, but has a wide range of shops, restaurants, entertainment and a residential complex.
How to get to Puerto Marina
Puerto Marina is located in Benalmadena Costa, a few meters from the national road N-340. It can be reached easily from the coastal towns by the Mediterranean Motorway A-7; take exit 222 towards Benalmadena / Arroyo de la Miel.
Those who come to the area of Benalmadena and Torremolinos on the Costa del Sol have the opportunity to visit the marina of Benalmadena, also known as Puerto Marina, a beautiful place to enjoy a walk or a coffee in the late afternoon.

Those who enjoy the nightlife will find in Benalmadena an ideal place to go out at night, with a good atmosphere and plenty of places where to have a drink and dance; although the drinks are priced high, but this is something that happens in all the tourist resorts.

The Costa del Sol town of Benalmadena hosts between the days from April 27 to May 1 the first Nautical Fair on the Costa del Sol. The Benalmadena marina, known as Puerto Marina and which has been awarded several times as the best marina in the World, is the ideal setting for exhibition and sale of boats and nautical equipment. This event is the first of its kind in Andalusia.
The Nautical Fair will take place in Puerto Marina, in the Avenida de las Palmeras, where have been created some 3,000 square meters for this event and in the docks are exposed larger vessels.

At Puerto Marina in Benalmadena will be held from 28th of April to 1st of May the 9th Seafood Fair, a popular event that serves as a platform to promote the cuisine of this well known Costa del Sol resort. It is a gastronomic event offering a wide variety of top quality seafood, prepared in different ways and at very affordable prices.
During four days visitors can taste from 12:00 a.m. the best seafood such as shrimps, scallops, grilled prawns, mussels, clams and many more from a total of 20 varieties of seafood at an extraordinary price, offered by the restaurants participating in the fair.
Seafood lovers can enjoy as of Thursday, at popular prices, in the following restaurants located in Puerto Marina in Benalmádena: El Arrecife, Carretero, El Trasmallo, Alborada, Calamar, Ventorillo La Perra, El Rincón Asturiano, El Faro, La Taberna Marinera de Juan y Pepi, Los Mellizos and El Mero.
The comprehensive program which will take place in Puerto Marina, will last until January 5th. Performances are held in a large marquee in front of the Pueblo Marinero, which comprises from Christmas gatherings for foreigners to games and activities for children. Also the Three Kings visit the port and will make residents and tourists spending an unforgettable day. Also, in the marquee will be taking place events like a Christmas market.
