Estepona Town Hall celebrates the Day of the Foreign Resident

Estepona Town Hall will celebrate on Sunday, April 18th, from 12:00 to 18:00 PM the "Day of the Foreign resident", taking place at the Palacio de Exposiciones y Congresos.
It is a day of living together with the participation of the foreign groups of Estepona and more than 25 associations and NGOs from different countries. There will be stands from diverse nations, where will be offered the most typical examples of cuisine, culture and folklore. The opening will be at 12:00 pm in the morning and there also will be an international show that will last until 18:00 pm approximately. There will be as well animation for the younger ones. This event is a good occasion to go for a stroll along the sea promenade of Estepona to the Exhibition Hall, enjoying a day out and learning more about culture and folklore of our neighbors.
The event will begin at 12:00 pm in the Exhibition Hall (Palacio de Exposiciones y Congresos), with the following schedule. The entrance is free:
- 12.00: Opening Ceremony, led by Mayor David Valadez
- 12.15: Jazz Group "The Coastline Dixielanders"
- 13.15: Indigenous Music
- 14.30: Songs with Billy Robins
- 13.45: Spanish Dance Group Lourdes by Lourdes Barriento
- 15.30: Folklore Argentino with Alejandro Iaconi
- 14.45: Performance by the Group of Peru "Inti Amaru"
- 15.00: "Modern Jive" dance group Rock and Roll
- 16.15: Group Dance "Costa Kickers"
- 15.30: Jazz, Soul and a lot of love
- 15.45: Songs with Trevor Brooks
16.00: Dance led by Mariví Rodriguez - 16.30: Parade "Moroccan Caftan," Assoc. Tawassol Spain
- 16.45: "Carabato" from Colombia with Dona Martinez
- 17.00: 50 + Dance Aerobics by Martina Merkel
17.15: Latino and oriental dances by Iplacea Dance Academy - 17:30: Argentinean Dances by Sandra Baldi
- 17:45: Dance from Cuba with Magali
- 18.00: Farewell and closing
