Arab souk in Benalmadena from the 1st to the 5th of September

In Benalmadena will take place for the third consecutive year the Arab souk from the 1st to the 5th of September. This colorful event will be held around calle Real, the Plaza de España and the gardens of El Muro in Benalmadena Pueblo.

The souk includes stalls selling handicrafts, leather, herbs and spices, and an Arabic food restaurant and a teahouse.
For five days the streets of Benalmadena Pueblo will become an authentic Arab market with workshops and live performances from the 07: 00 pm to 01: 00 am.

It is a program for people of all ages and also offers children's workshops in order to include all sectors of the population in this activity.

With this Arab souk is available a range of opportunities for original purchases in Malaga, as many exhibitors will offer a wide range of handicrafts, from vases, carpets and kilims to decorations of all kinds, to which is added one of the most visited attractions of last year, the henna tattoos for those who want to keep a memory of this excursion.

In addition, the cultural event will feature numerous musical performances, the famous belly dancing and other traditional performances.

Moreover, the souk will house different areas dedicated to food, so the tea shops, accompanied by sweet delicacies, will become an attraction for the whole family. In fact, the smallest will also receive attention, as there have been organized several activities for children, craft workshops where they will be teached to make clay figurines and baskets, among others.
