Nerja Fair from 9th to the 12th of October 2009

If you do consider visiting the Costa del Sol in the next few days, we would like to recommend you not forgetting to visit Nerja; here will take place the most important fair of this beautiful coastal city. The fair in the lovely mediterranean city Nerja officially takes place from the 9th to the 12th of October; in the afternoon of the 8th of October there will be celebrated the Child´s day with half prices on all the attractions. This is one of the biggest Fairs in Nerja, in Honor to the Virgen de las Angustias and the archangel San Miguel and be prepared to find every day people dancing and having fun.

A part of the cultural events of this type in Spain and especially in Andalusia is strongly liked to Religion; the same happens in Nerja and one of the most attractive aspects for Tourists is the procession taking place in honor for the patron saint, where she is carried from her chapel to the church of San Salvador through the narrow streets of Nerja and visible for everyone.

The last days of the fair coincides with the bank holiday of Pilar and so you still can take a trip to Sierra Nevada, which you can easily reach from Nerja by car.
