Malaga Fair from 13th to 22nd of August 2010

One of the events of the summer is the Feria de Malaga, a fair that has a long tradition and people are so fond of it that every year a large numbers of tourists and locals of the Costa del Sol are flocking into the city and everyone enjoys this spectacular fair. In fact, the fair of Malaga is one of the most important fairs held in Andalusia.
It is a fair where you can enjoy a good atmosphere and a number of different shows and artists that will perform during the fair, one of the highlights of each summer. It is a fair that takes place every August and is a very attractive event for lovers of party.
This year the fair will be held from 13th to 22nd of August. It is one of the events of the summer and many use the fair to know each and every of the charms of Malaga, a truly evocative and very attractive city.
Next Friday, on August 13th, before midnight, thousands of locals and visitors congregate on the beach of La Malagueta to hear the "Proclamation of the Fair" which officially inaugurates it.
At midnight in the port there will be a great show of fireworks, light and sound and then a concert by Miguel Bose, also on the beach of La Malagueta.
The Fair has two aspects, the Day Fair in the historic centre of Malaga and the night Fair at the fairgrounds. At the fair in the city centre you can taste from midday onwards wines and tapas accompanied by music and a lot of joy in the historic streets of Malaga. At the fairgrounds there are booths, live entertainment and fairground attractions for the enjoyment of the visitors.
In the Municipal Auditorium there will be every night some free shows. Another booth where you can hear good music is the Municipal Caseta de Flamenco. A total of 28 performances will be held in three different stages.
In order to facilitate the Access for visitors to the fair this year the City will enable 10,000 parking spaces in the fairground and 2.500 in the area of San Andres. There are also 18 additional bus routes for 1.50 €.
