Festival of Pescaito (Fried Fish Day) in Torremolinos

Torremolinos celebrates tomorrow, the 10th of June, its traditional festival.The Día de pescaíto is a gastronomic journey that takes place in Torremolinos since the 80s and that is usually held the second Thursday of the month of June. The fried fish is a typical dish of the municipalities of Malaga. The festival takes place in the district of La Carihuela and along the Sea Promenade, where Bars and restaurants distribute free fish of various species.

The promenade of La Carihuela in Torremolinos becomes tomorrow an outdoor restaurant where all attendees can taste the most typical of the cuisine of this coastal town: the pescaíto.

The popular celebration of the twenty-third edition of the Pescaíto Day, which is organized by the delegation of Tourism of the City of Torremolinos with the collaboration of the Association of Traders of La Carihuela, offers a great feast to visitors where will be distributed for free between 10,000 and 12,000 kilos of various species of fish, accompanied by drinks. The considerable event is also animated with musical performances.
