Skatepark in Fuengirola: The best skatepark in Spain and 3rd in Europe

The new Skate Plaza in Fuengirola has become a magnet for skating lovers on the Costa del Sol; maybe because it is considered the best skatepark in Spain and is among the top 3 in Europe.

The year 2017 was in the headlines for changing its name to the name of the Spaniard who lost his life defending the victims of the terrorist attack in London.

Skate Plaza: Considered the best skatepark in Spain and the third in Europe.

One of the best skateparks in Europe

This skatepark is considered the best skatepark in Spain and the third in Europe. It is a public space where everyone can practice sports on wheels.

There are different areas in this skatepark, from ramps and platforms to different levels, bars, curbs, stairs and pools (bowls).

There are also three tracks for petanque lovers to practice this activity.

If you take the little ones to this skatepark there is a terrace where you can have a drink while the children are having fun, you can also combine it with a visit to the shopping centre or eat in one of the restaurants available.

I must specify that this is a space for the practice of sport, so if the child is small and does not know how to unfold the ideal is to have the presence of an adult and not hinder the practice of other users of the facility.

Have you been there? Do you consider it as one of the best skateparks in Europe?

Where is it located?

The Skate Square has 5145 square meters, street and ramp and has also prepared BMX areas.

If you want to enjoy a session, the Skate Park is between San Cayetano and Virgen del Rosario streets, near the Myramar shopping centre.

If you go by car you can park in the shopping centre next to the skatepark.

Other options

If you are looking for other options you can visit the skatepark in Benalmádena, known as Parque Innova.
