From this Friday until November the 19th there is a new appointment for those who enjoy tapas. The called ‘Ruta de la Tapa Erótica’ will be celebrated again this year ¿will you join?
This event had a great success among the locals and foreigners visiting Fuengirola in past editions.
This is an original way for bringing the tapas with an erotic, sensual and funny touch. It offers the visitor a wide range of tastes in imaginative small dishes which catch the attention from the first moment.
This year the ‘Ruta de la Tapa’ event have 77 bars participating where you can go to try the tapas. The price however rises again, this time its 2,5€ per tapa and drink (It did cost 1,5€ few years ago and 2€ in past event). If you don’t mind avoiding the event and prefer some normal and cheaper tapas, check our guide of the best tapas bars in Malaga.
Featuring this year, 8 of those bars will be offering tapas without gluten in Fuengirola, sweet tapas and one vegan tapa.
If becoming an expert taster sounds interesting to you now you can be one. You just have to pick up a special passport made for this event, the different bars will stamp it with every tapa you order.
Passport is available in Spanish and English. This popular event receives visitors from different countries so you don’t have to worry about not speaking Spanish. You can pick up the passport at the tourism office or at any of the bars participating on this promotion.
Once you fill the passport with 10 stamps you have to bring it to the tourism office. With each passport you bring you will take part in a raffle with some prizes. There is a cruise, smart tv, dinning, hotel nights…and more.
The winners will be announced at the Casa de la Cultura at 8:00 pm.
Are you going to miss it?
Among the available tapas you will find names like ‘Chipirón Picantón’, ‘Memorias de una Geisha’, ‘Tetanic’, ‘Tu rollito nos va’…
This event will take place also in Twitter with the hashtag #Fuengirolamepone. You can share your epic moments and photos using it.
In past events they sold near half a million of tapas, will you miss yours?
