The extraordinary setting of the Caves of Nerja becomes for another year the host of special summer nights where to enjoy an evening of music and art.

The Nerja Caves are not only interesting due to their fantastic rock formations, stalagmites and stalactites. Years ago has been enabled one of the great caves with suitable seating and lighting, creating a fantastic and impressive space dedicated to receive the Festival Cueva de Nerja during the summer months.

In 2017 it was celebrated from 10th in June to 1st of July.
In 2012, the 51st Festival Cueva de Nerja, celebrated from 13 to 17 July, performed the Flamenco singer Estrella Morente and the Radio Symphony Orchestra of the Spanish Television (RTVE), the National Theatre Ballet from Prague and the argentine Ballet by Julio Bocca.
On July, 13th the event kicks off with a performance of the flamenco artist Estrella Morente.
On July, 14th performed the Ballet Argentino of Julio Bocca.
The stars and soloists from the Ballet of the National Theater of Prague, which is perhaps one of the most important nowadays in Europe, performed on 15th and 17th of July. Among their repertoire was included classical ballet repertoires such as Sleeping Beauty, Don Quixote and Romeo and Juliet.
Finally RTVE Symphony Orchestra performed on July, 16th. The repertoire of this concert includes, among other compositions the Concierto de Aranjuez.
